Baldassare Galuppi
After Vivaldi’s death, one of the most gainful Venetian musical export products was the opus of his fellow-citizen Baldassare Galuppi. Today remembered as the hyper-productive master of opera, Galuppi also composed a significant oratory opus marked by aesthetics of opera. The regular guest of the Croatian Baroque Ensemble and Finnish harpsichordist and conductor Aapo Häkkinen will present it with a rarely performed oratory of Adam’s fall, which was premiered in Rome in 1747.
